VEHICLE/PASSENGER Band Photoshoot
I was deeply moved when VEHICLE/PASSENGER, a new band straight out of Bushwick / Amsterdam, decided to book me for their first ever band photoshoot. It is always a pleasure working with fellow artists, especially with a group of talented musicians who are clear in their vision of what they want out of a photo session.
After extensive communication and consultation with the band, we decided to shoot exclusively in black and white, both on medium format film and on digital. For the photoshoot, I brought with me my trusty Leica M11 Monochrom, together with a Rolleiflex 2.8f loaded with Ilford Delta 100. We decided on a few locations in advance, including an abandoned church and a street lined with rusty metal walls, but also want to scout around in Bushwick for interesting locations. When we found a supermarket with a bunch of wooden pallets lying around, we knew that it was the perfect location for the shoot.
If you want are interested in VEHICLE/PASSENGER, you could give them a listen on Spotify.
If you like this style of band photography, well, book me!
